The Washington Historical Society is a great resource for conducting research on the history of Washington’s people and places. Much of our collection has now been digitized and can be found in our Digital Library. We also have various other resources available online, such as theWashington Sesquicentennial Book of 1975, and papers about various Washington topics at Washington Rewind . We also encourage you to visit the Washington Historical Society’s YouTube Channel! There, you will find videos of past “I Have a Story,” cemetery walk, and other educational presentations, as well as newly produced videos on a variety of topics.
Of course, we still welcome the public into our building to peruse our library. To make an appointment to visit, please send an email to washingtonilhs@gmail.com.
